I’m a Partner at Prime Movers Lab and the Advising Managing Director at Tulsa Local Ventures, the venture arm of the George Kaiser Family Foundation. My work connects breakthrough science, venture investing, and company building in Tulsa and beyond.

My career spans deep technology commercialization as a founder, investor, advisor, and team member for more than thirty biotech, deeptech, nanotech, robotics, and software companies.

As a biochemist and drug hunter, I’ve worked on medicines from the bench through clinical trials: small molecules, antibodies, oligonucleotides, and vectored vaccines, across ten regulatory jurisdictions and four continents.

As an investor, I’ve led more than $100 million in investments, deployed more than $300 million in capital, and served as a director or observer on more than two dozen boards.

My board experience includes Iridia, LyGenesis, and Morphoceuticals—working across molecular information storage, cell therapies, and bioelectric medicine.

Other board roles have included Gilgamesh Pharmaceuticals (acquired by AbbVie for $1.2B), Iviva Medical (acquired by United Therapeutics before Series A), Zafrens, Elevian, and Dimension Inx.

From molecules to ventures.

I invested as founding partner at TomorrowScale Ventures and served as a Venture Partner at Deep Science Ventures, supporting scientific startups built through its venture creation program.

At Antiverse, I helped build and oversee a portfolio of novel antibodies designed computationally against difficult targets. Before that, I served as Senior Director of Drug Development at Tetherex Pharma, working on biologics for inflammatory, oncologic, and infectious diseases, including the SelK2 antibody program and the single-cycle vaccine program subsequently developed by Moat Bio.

Earlier, I was VP of Business Development and Operations at Accele BioPharma and an Associate at Accele Venture Partners. I worked on both sides of the table to identify, fund, and manage therapeutic and diagnostic startups, including programs in diabetes, hearing loss, cancer, infectious disease, and antibiotic resistance.

At Altheus Therapeutics, I spent seven years in drug development, helping take a program from the bench through Phase 2.

A builder’s curiosity.

I also founded SnapLap Technologies, bringing laboratory automation and machine vision to energy exploration and mineral analysis, and Chorus Labs, a productivity software company acquired in 2015. I’m an inventor and author on patents and peer-reviewed publications.

In 2019, I founded TomorrowScale out of a fascination with difficult scientific challenges and the companies tackling them. That curiosity still connects my work in science, investing, writing, and conversation.
